The Challenge

DNattorney.com is the online presence of Zak Muscovitch, a globally recognized domain name attorney with over 20 years of practice in internet law. The site was running on a WordPress installation that hadn't been meaningfully updated in over two decades. The design was severely dated, the site had been compromised with malware, and page load times were poor. The site housed over 1,000 pages of critical content — 600+ documented domain dispute cases, 40+ blog posts, resource libraries, media coverage, and service pages — all of which needed to be preserved. The attorney had no practical way to manage content, images, or redirects without developer intervention.

The Strategy

Rather than patching the existing WordPress site, we planned a complete ground-up rebuild using Lovable with server-side rendering for performance and SEO. The new architecture needed to handle the scale of the site — 1,000+ pages across case archives, blog, service pages, and resources — while giving the attorney full independence to manage every aspect of his online presence through a custom CMS.

The Execution

Rebuilt the entire site from scratch with a modern tech stack and server-side rendering. Recovered from the malware-infected WordPress instance, preserving all content and URL structures. Migrated 600+ individual case study pages spanning 15+ years of domain dispute documentation, 40+ blog posts, four service pages (UDRP Dispute Resolution, Domain Recovery, Domain Transactions, Cyberlaw Advisory), resource libraries including ADNDRC case archives, and media coverage sections. Implemented Schema.org structured data (JSON-LD) across all pages for enhanced search visibility. Designed and built a custom CMS backend with modules for content editing and publishing, blog management, redirect management (critical for preserving 20+ years of URL equity), image management, and login and user management. Built a responsive design with critical CSS optimization and delivered a fully self-service platform.
